I find myself wishing this story were about Jar-Jar Binx. It could not possibly be more contrived and frankly annoying than the character“Lift”. I’ve enjoyed this series for the most part, “Lift” being a glaring exception. #WORST_CHARACTER_EVER

Sanderson Stormblessed continues to amaze. Edgedancer provided a great “gap” story. The shorter chapters and quick readability presented a refreshing alternative to the denser 1000+ page novels that make up the rest of the Stormlight Archives (which I love!). The story is a great pivot from the characters we’ve been following so far and picking up on references to events from the other storylines was truly exciting. Now, onto Oathbringer!

If you have an issue with the price, purchase the arcanum unbounded and get more stories for cheaper. Anyways this story is superb and Lifts character is absolutely delightful. This is a must read!

Loved this novelette. It is fun and light in a way that the main books aren't. However in comparison to the core books it is very brief and the price per page is a LOT higher. Lift is a fantastic character and I look forward to meeting her again in the future.

This is really good. However, 7$ for 200 pages is ridiculous.

My only complaint is that this storyline of Lift, Darkness, and the goings-on around them is worthy of its own novel in the series. While her experiences are just as intense as the major characters we already know in the series Lift manages to be a lot more lighthearted. Being a child gives her a whole different perspective and her unique abilities mix things up a bit. What a splendid fork.
